microDAC® CTE Measuring device - Automated multi-sample measurement of thermal expansion coefficients

Our microDAC® CTE measuring device offers a fast and fully automatic measurement that is ideal for efficient use in material analysis.

Thanks to the simultaneous measurement in two spatial directions (x and y), the material properties can be precisely recorded. Particularly practical is the parallel measurement of up to six samples at the same time. There is no need for time-consuming sample preparation, which saves time and effort. A detailed test report is automatically generated once the test has been completed. The compact tabletop device can be used flexibly and impresses with its space-saving design. The measuring device is also a cost-effective solution and enables high-quality measurement results.

Anwendungsgebiete
  • Material development and research: For characterising and developing new materials, especially in materials research, in order to determine the thermal properties of different materials. materials.
  • Quality assurance in production: For checking and ensuring constant material properties in industrial production, e.g. in the automotive and aerospace industries.
  • Electronics and semiconductor industry: For measuring the thermal expansion of components and materials to minimise material deformation caused by temperature fluctuations and to ensure the longevity of electronic components.
  • Construction and architecture: For testing building materials that have to withstand different climatic conditions, such as glass, concrete, plastics or various metals.
  • Energy and environmental technology: In the analysis of materials used in solar and wind power plants, where thermal stability is crucial for efficiency and service life.
  • Research institutes and universities: For experimental studies and training in the thermal analysis of materials.
  • Packaging analysis: Knowing the expansion behaviour is important to ensure that the packaging remains stable when exposed to temperature fluctuations (e.g. during cooling or heating).
  • Material resistance in cold chains: Checking the thermal stability of packaging used for frozen products to prevent cracking or deformation when exposed to large temperature differences.
  • Storage and transport conditions: Determination of the expansion behaviour of materials used in transport and storage containers for foodstuffs in order to avoid quality losses due to thermal influences.
  • Quality assurance in the plastics industry: Precise checking of thermal expansion to ensure that material properties remain constant and quality is guaranteed.

The microDAC® CTE measuring device is therefore versatile and provides valuable insights into the thermal properties of materials, which is of central importance for numerous technical and industrial applications.
